Join us in the CELLO TEMPLE !
dance • draw • write • play • rest
with improvised cello music by STEPHEN KATZ

While super-gentle, cello-centric, auditory waves fill the space, you’re welcome to dance freely, settle in with drawing and writing materials, or simply listen and rest.

We will begin with a brief grounding practice led by Sara followed by the soothing sounds of Cello Temple. We are excited for you to join us in this Garden Cello Temple!

This event will take place outside in our gardens. There will be shade available and blankets and limited seating. Please feel free to bring blankets and folding chairs. You are welcome to sit, dance or wander through the gardens and by the pond.

About Sweet Roots Gardens
We are a garden based education program providing nature, yoga and mindfulness programs for adults, children and families. Art, yoga, music, dance and play are also important parts of our work. We celebrate the magic of growing, both the plants and ourselves. We honor the healing potential that lies in our connection to the earth- personally, collectively and in our efforts to heal the earth herself.

Lovers of cello music will find a whole new dimension to love in the music of cellist Stephen Katz. His music for movement has been described as Super-Gentle Psychedelic Auditory Doses. Active ingredients in his sonic cocktail include live looping, great grooves, and a healer’s sensibility. Listen here: https://www.stephenkatzmusic.com/cellotemple

Sara met Stephen when she returned to the cello after many years away. She is inspired by his music and its potential to heal. So Cello Temple in the gardens that heal only feels like a fitting match. We are excited to welcome you.

Sweet Roots Gardens is located in Conway, near the Deerfield line. Directions will be sent once you have pre registered. Register here. (insert calendly link) Donations made to Stephen Katz….
