Explore yoga, mindfulness and self-compassion practices in a supportive community

We are excited to begin offering more programs for teens! All of our programs will be infused with yoga, breathing, mindfulness and self compassion practices. Our garden based programs will also introduce participants to gardening practices and the power of our connection to the Earth.

Yoga and Mindfulness for Teens In the Garden

Learn to garden, practice yoga and mindfulness all while soaking in the healing power of the natural world

This program will take place at our educational gardens in Conway, MA (very close to the Deerfield line). We are in the process of building our gardens and this is a great opportunity for anyone interested in seeing how this happens from the (literal!) ground up. We will practice yoga and mindfulness together outside and will also do garden and herbal projects.

Led by Sweet Roots Gardens founder, Sara Coblyn, this program will:

  • Provide participants with an overview of various mindfulness and self compassion practices

  • Offer participants weekly yoga practices that they can modify to suit their goals and experience level

  • Participants will engage with a variety of garden, herbal and craft projects

Sara combines her various trainings in to this diverse program; she is a certified yoga instructor with over a decade of experience teaching kids and adults, has been a garden educator for 20 years and has also been trained in the Mindful Schools curriculum, the Mindful Self Compassion Program and has received a variety of anatomy, yoga and mindfulness trainings.
